You will be diagnosed using four techniques: observing, questioning, listening and pulse checking.
Does acupuncture treatment hurt?
No. You only need to relax and cooperate with the acupuncture when receiving treatment.
Why do the remedies taste bitter?
This is because the herbs have their own unique flavour; as the Chinese proverbs say, "Bitter the herbs, better the effect" Herbs are not much different from vegetables, except they do not taste as nice and have natural medicial elements.
How do I book my free Acupuncture consultant?
You can come into our shops anytime or call in advance to book an appointment when it's convenient for you.
1. Usually herbal products should be taken 30 minutes after food, some herbal tonics may be taken on empty stomach.
2.The time for drinking decoction of mixed row herbs usually twice a day, morning and evening. It's better 30-60 minutes after meal and drink it warm.
3. If you find the herbal tea decoction is too bitter to drink, you can add some honey or sugar in it.
4. During the time when you are taking the herbal medicine, try to avoid the following things: spicy food like chilli; sea food; acidic food. If you really can't give them up, please at least try to cut them down, because they do not go well with herbal medicine and will reduce the effect of the medicine.
